Lin – från frö till stygn

Inspiration

A serene domestic scene of a small mending corner, without any humans present, in photographic realism. A low, natural-wood stool supports a carefully folded stack of well-worn linen garments in soft whites, sand, and muted blue-grey, each bearing visible, artful patches inspired by Finnish and Japanese lappning traditions. Intricate running stitches and geometric patchwork in indigo and earthy browns stand out against the plain cloth.
